With a passion for events that break free from the norm and showcase originality, Riley creates hands-on experiences with personal touches that every attendee will remember long after the event. After earning a degree in Interior Design, she brought her knowledge of visual display, spatial awareness, functionality, and our emotional environment into the world of events. The execution of her designs and the events she produces genuinely exude her enthusiasm and the high standard she holds herself to. Simply put, she creates spaces and culinary experiences that people feel excited to be a part of, no matter the occasion.

As a Bay Area native, Jack’s love for food developed early and grew into a passion. He brings over 10 years of experience in every aspect of the food industry, from retail meat and seafood mongering to fine dining and private chef work. While exploring food preparation around the world he learned firsthand that outstanding food experiences combine creative experimentation with an obsession for perfection. Jack now expresses his love for great food and for the unique bounty of fresh seasonally driven California ingredients by creating experiences that last for every Aliment client.

Terry Betts

Owner | Director of Operations

Terry is a passionate traveler and chef who connects with people around the world through food. With 35 years of experience in catering and event planning, she’s worked closely with small farmers supplying the Bay Area and has led educational tours through local farmers markets. Terry believes food is a powerful force for building community and loves teaching others about ingredients and their origins. Outside of her work at Aliment, she teaches public and private cooking classes in the East Bay, focusing on simplicity and seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
